How does the process work?
I try to make the whole process as easy as possible on my clients. After you contact me and we chat, I will send you an initial estimate for the work you would like completed. Then you can take some time to decide if you’d like to move forward with me, and if you’d like any adjustments made to your estimate. Once you decide to take the leap, I will send you both a contract to sign and an initial invoice.
Depending on the services requested, either half of the payment or an initial deposit will be due along with the signed contract. You will receive an estimated completion date in your contract, and I will notify you a few days before I start work on your design if you are placed on a waitlist. Together we will create for you a place online that you are proud of and excited to call your own! Once our time together is complete, you will be sent a final invoice for the remainder of the payment.
What additional charges might apply?
Besides our agreed upon quote, no other charges will arise from me as long as the requests fall within the set terms of our contract. However, if you decide to add additional design requests or services to our agreement, or if you would like to meet for a few consulting sessions, you will be billed for those separately.
And of course if you decide to use this time as an opportunity to move hosting providers, buy a domain name, purchase a new theme, run advertisements, etc — those charges will be paid to a third party.
What payment options do you accept?
Payment options include Paypal, check, and credit card (credit card payments are processed through Paypal, but an account is not required).
How long have you been doing website creation and design?
I’ve been involved in website creation and maintenance since the beginning of 2012. I got my start by providing website design and content maintenance for area small businesses. During that first year I also created a few personal and “work from home” websites for the local community. Once I started my own blog, I began designing and setting up blogs for other bloggers across the world, and it just took off from there! Since then I have been the project manager and content creator for a large company’s website makeover, redesigned websites for small businesses, and grown in my knowledge of various Content Management Systems (CMS). Please contact me to chat about how I may be able to help you raise the bar on your current website or start from scratch to create for you your dream design!
How long have you been doing graphic design?
I have been working in graphic design professionally since 2014, and for the two years prior to that I also designed on an amateur/freelance basis for my existing website clients. I am experienced with and work within Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, and Illustrator. A few samples of my work are available on my portfolio page, and additional work samples can be sent upon request.
How long have you been doing social media management?
I started managing a few of my existing clients social media channels back in 2012, and also created content for them to post on their own. From 2014 to 2016 I managed all the social media channels (over 8) for a large organization as well as a few other channels for self-employed individuals. I have extensive knowledge in social media demographics, call to action posting, event integration, channel integration, and advertising within social media platforms. Because of my dedication to each client and their brand, I am only able to take on a limited number of social media management clients at a time. Please contact me for more information on this service.
